Game Developer with Gamification Expertise

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager & Game Developer to lead the gamification of our e-commerce platform. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing game design strategies into non-gaming environments, particularly in the social buying space. As a key player on our team, you will be responsible for integrating engaging game mechanics into our platform to enhance user experience, drive engagement, and increase customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the concept development and implementation of gamification strategies within our e-commerce platform, ensuring that the application is fun, engaging, and socially interactive.
• Manage a cross-functional team of developers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality gamified features on time and within budget.
• Spearhead the project lifecycle from conception to launch, including requirement gathering, scope definition, timeline management, and resource allocation.
• Maintain a deep understanding of our customer base to design gamified solutions that cater to their motivations and enhance their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with the product management team to define clear milestones and deliverables and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Foster a creative and collaborative work environment where team members are encouraged to contribute to game concepts and feature development.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in gamification, game development, and e-commerce to keep our platform innovative and competitive.

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in game development, with a proven track record of successful gamification in a user-centric business environment.
• Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
• Strong technical background with experience in overseeing the development of mobile and web applications.
• Excellent understanding of UI/UX design principles and their application in creating engaging user experiences.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire a team and articulate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
