Manager, Enterprise Compliance Management

Job Summary
Manager, Enterprise Compliance Management is responsible for developing, implementing and administering all aspects of the Bank's regulatory requirements and compliance management program. In addition, the role holder is responsible for ensuring that the Bank functions in full compliance with all banking laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures and ensuring that risk taking remains within the domain of the stipulated regulatory requirement as per the approved policies, procedures and guidelines.
Academic & Professional Qualification
· Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Economics, Law, Accounting, Finance, or Banking
· Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Law, or related business field from a recognized institution is an added advantage.
· Professional certification in Risk Management; Financial Risk Management (FRM), RCP Level 3, Chartered Risk Analyst (CRA) or Governance Risk and Compliance Management (GRCM).
- Job Requirements:
Experience
· Minimum of Eight (8) years relevant experience out of which two (2) years at middle or line management post.

· High-level interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, including ability to build consensus, alliances and collaborative relationships with sensitivity to diversity/inclusion.

· Strategic thinking and decision making- ability to consider emerging trends/developments and long-term opportunities for Dashen Bank.

· Personal motivation and drive exhibited through commitment to hard work, continuous improvement and achievement of goals.

· Risk awareness and focus- demonstrates understanding of risk management practices, standards and regulatory requirements
· Effective stakeholder management.
Required Technical Competency
· Knowledge of various types of risks, including Governance Risks and Market place risks (economic environment, technological developments and regulatory requirements), Operational risks, financial risks and fraud risks.
· Proven experience in interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements.
· Ability to conduct regular risk based compliance risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
· Clear understanding of economics, emerging technologies, bank risks and relevant emerging issues in risk management.
· Knowledge of policies, regulations and directives related to Financial Sectors
· Risk management skills including risk assessment, evaluation, quantification, mitigation and reporting skills.
· Project management skills.
