LonAdd HR Consultancy Plc (www.lonadd.com) is a Recruitment & Outsourcing Company based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with branch offices in Dukem and Hawassa. We are looking to recruit a qualified-on Procurement Superintendent for our client Tulu Kapi Gold Mine.
Job Purpose
To provide direct output support to the Commercial Manager in the execution of a procurement management plan and to ensure that all procurement related obstacles are removed to achieve objectives and a specialized/professional procurement service is rendered to the operations.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Maintaining sound internal and external customer relationships
- Ensuring compliance and governance to procurement and commercial processes and procedures as well as exercising the prescribed policies.
- Purchasing and Procurement of needed materials and services on behalf of internal customers as and when required.
- Reporting and corrective action of the procurement function to ensure a quality service to customers.
- Cost Control to remain within the prescribed financial parameters and budgets – pursue cost containment of procured services and material but without compromising on quality of procured materials and services.
- Commodity plan that complies with standardization within the function to enable end users and materials as well as supply chain to be more efficient.
- Contract administration in all cases of external suppliers and services.
- Facilitating the Tender Process in all cases of external suppliers and services.
- Job Requirements:
Key Skills/Experience Required
- Minimum of 10 years’ operational experience in a procurement role.
- Experience in the mining industry.
- Sound knowledge of Ethiopian regulatory framework and applicable legislation
- SAP or similar ERP Super user experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with the coordination off procurement services in the West Wollega Region.
- Proof of excellent communication with all stakeholders at different levels.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Related Bachelor’s degree – Commercial, Procurement
- Post graduate qualifications will be advantageous.
Language Requirements- Excellent Afaan Oromo speaking and writing
- Excellent Amharic speaking & writing
- English speaking and writing

- Computer literacy with advanced knowledge of the complete Microsoft package
