Job Description:

Ethio Impact Consulting Plc is looking for a Customer Support Staff on behalf of our client. Under the supervision of the Unit Leader, greets assists, entertains and follows up on customers as well as the activities of the showroom of the respective unit. Arrangement and tiding up of displays. Reports on these issues, on a regular basis to the Unit Leader verbally or in writing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Gives high regards to all customers (walk in or existing) around the showroom or n the phone.
  • Greet and gives out one’s name whilst assisting customers especially over the phone.
  • Greeting Customer by waving towards them from distance or from first glance. 
  • Have thorough knowledge of stock. 
  • Has to have a thorough knowledge of the products to be sold as well as the availability and price. 
  • During invoicing feeds the right details and code/s of the item/s sold, Customer Name and Tax Identification Number (TIN), if applicable. If it is a company and TIN is not available, then the customer has to formally write a letter confirming nonexistence of TIN. 
  • Prepares/ Issues and follows - up on Proforma Invoices. First and for most to check the availability of stock and then feeds the right details and code/s of the item/s that are offered to customers within the unit. Feedback of customers shall be communicated to the respective Unit Leader. 
  • After informing the sales coordinator or unit leader can serve stock at store for customer to l week.. 
  • Issues Cash Invoices after checking availability and confirming delivery schedule for timely deliveries of the goods and services to the intended customer . 
  • Issues Preparation Slips and gets it checked by the respective Unit Leader before passing it to the Technical Section and Stores Division. 
  • Regarding Invoices issued, 2 copies of the Preparation Slip is issues (One for Technical Section and One for Record) and if Down Payment is made and there is an urgency in loading the goods 3 copes will be prepared to notify the Store Section for and early preparation. The sales Coordinator has to approve it when the Preparation Slips is prepared in 3 copies. 
  • Files invoices and slips, keeping it’s sequential order along with their attachments if applicable. 
  • Arranges and follows up on delivery and appointments given to customers with the respective Unit Leader and/or sales coordinator after thoroughly checking on products readiness for delivery.
  • Submits customer requests to the Unit Leader in writing and also follows-up on customer requests if item/s on demand is to be ordered or imported. (With the sales coordinator and/or unit leader) 
  • Briefs customers either at showroom or via phone on new arrivals and any other models that may be compatible with models that have already been purchased. 
  • Regarding maintenance handling, forwards maintenance request slip details to the Unit Leader. And follow up or status of maintenance by being the key person for the customer. 
  • Tidies-up displays and making sure everything on display is clean and in the right position as customers tend to move it around during showroom viewing. 
  • Ensures all documents in hand are in safe place. 
  • Performs other related duties requested by superiors and/ or higher officials. 
  • Making sure the work area is tidy and presentable.
Job Requirements:
  • level IV/diploma in Marketing or Management.
  • 2 years’ experience in a related fields. .
  • Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply for this position.
