Vétérinaires Sans Frontières – Suisse (VSF-Suisse) is a development-oriented, politically and religiously neutral non-profit international non-governmental organization (INGO) headquartered in Berne, Switzerland. Activities range from emergency relief to long-term development, with projects in Togo Mali, South Sudan, Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia. VSF-Suisse envisions having healthy people live and derive their livelihoods from healthy livestock in a sustainable, healthy and peaceful environment.

VSF Suisse has partnered with the International Labor Organization (ILO) to develop the dairy value chain in the Fafen zone of Somali Regional State that benefits both host and refugee communities in Kebribeyah woreda. To improve the profitability and market success of dairy producers and cooperatives in the Somali Region of Ethiopia the project is establishing a milk cooling facility in Kebribeyah Woreda.

VSF-Suisse is therefore seeking to engage contractors to construct a Milk cooling facility in Guyo Kebele of Kebribeyah Woreda, Fafen zone of Somali Region. The invitation to Bid document will provide all relevant information in detail.

A complete bidding documents prepared in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and a nonrefundable fee of ETB 100 starting from April 18, 2024, from Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The method of payment shall be in cash.

The tender needs to be submitted as completed tender /bid documents one original marked ‘’Original `` and one copy marked ‘’copy`` by stating the tender name and reference number in wax sealed envelope and place in the Tender Box found at VSF-Suisse`s Ethiopia country office. The closing date for submitting the tender is April 29, 2024, at 2:00 PM local time. All bids submitted after that date and time will be rejected.
