Senior Resource Mobilization Officer

Awach Foundation is an indigenous non-profit and non-governmental organization (NGO) established on January 14, 2022, and licensed by the Agency for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO) with registration number 6010. The foundation was initiated by the Awach Saving and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. (ASACCOS Ltd.). Our vision is to "Aspire to satisfy the basic needs of low-income members of society," and our overarching goal is to address socio-economic challenges through various programs including Education, Health & Nutrition, Psychosocial Support, Livelihood Improvement, Environment & Energy, and Emergency & Humanitarian.

Job Summary

The organization is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Resource Mobilization Officer to lead our organization's efforts in securing funding and resources to support our mission and programs. As a key member of our team, the Senior Resource Mobilization Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive resource mobilization strategies, cultivating relationships with donors and partners, and overseeing fundraising activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in resource mobilization, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for driving sustainable growth and impact.

The primary responsibilities include strategic planning for comprehensive resource mobilization, managing donor engagement and relationships, developing proposals and grant writing, fostering partnerships, and organizing fundraising campaigns and events.

Reports to: General Manager of Awach Foundation

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, international development, nonprofit management) required; Master's degree preferred.

• relevant experiences of 4+ years for BA and 2+ years for MA or MBA

• Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies. Demonstrated experience in grant writing, proposal development, and donor stewardship.
