What We Do

 Ethiopian Capital Market Authority is established by Capital Market Proclamation No 1248/2021 as an autonomous Federal Regulatory Authority. One of the major objectives of ECMA is to ensure the existence of a capital market environment in which securities can be issued and traded in an orderly, fair, efficient manner. ECMA, as a regulatory authority, grants licenses to any person to operate as a security exchange, derivative exchange, security depository and clearing company, capital market service provider, over-the-counter trading facility or any other activity deemed by ECMA as a regulated activity under its jurisdiction. ECMA regulates and oversees trading in primary and secondary markets of securities, the use of electronic trading platforms that deal with securities and gives recognition and oversees the activities of self-regulatory organizations. 

Job Summary

 The Job holder is responsible for Coordinating the provision of various support services, including Facility, office service, fleet and documentation archives.  

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage facility related  project budgets and timeframes
  • Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation
  • Run routine maintenance inspections
  • Support maintenance and installment work as needed
  • Delegate cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to team members
  • Manage the organization's fleet of vehicles, including maintenance and repairs; Monitor fleet operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness; Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Supervise facility maintenance, Security ,Cafeteria and cleaning services; Ensure a safe and secure working environment for staff and visitors;
  • Coordinate space planning and utilization to optimize facility resources.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive document archiving system; Ensure the security, organization, and accessibility of critical documents and records; Develop retention policies and oversee document disposal procedures.
  • Oversee the authentication mechanism and storing of the Authority‚Äôs official documents
  • Develop and manage budgets for the General Services section; Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on budget variances;
  • Implement administrative systems, policies, and procedures
  • Manage contractual relationships with outsourced service providers 
  • Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
  • Handles other administrative activities assigned by corporate services deputy Director 


Job Requirements:

Academic Qualifications

  • Masters degree or above in Business Administration, Civil Engineering ,Supply and Logistics Management ,Economics or a field related to the Job function from an accredited or recognized learning institution.

 Work Experience

  • 7  years of relevant experience
  • 2 years in a management position
