Coffee Machine Operator

Background of the company  

Hadeed Trading plc is a company established in the year 2003 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia which is involved in manufacturing, export, import and distribution of different types of products. Hadeed entered the manufacturing sector by opening a galvanizing plant in 2005 and also started supplying home appliances for the local market in 2007. In 2018 Hadeed Trading entered the coffee export sector and quickly became one of the top exporters of top quality coffee in Ethiopia.

Job Description

• Records daily production by type of product, quantities and cert number.
• Cleaning machine and surrounding of the workplace
• Preventive maintenance for machine
• Producing according to production plan
• Inspects and check the machine lines and prepares it for Production Process.
• Notifies the immediate supervisor and mechanics when deviations from standard operations are encountered.
• Checks the subsequent raw coffees are similar to the previous one and ratios that are inappropriate for the product under process are removed from the production lines.
• Controls the speed of line and adjusts as necessary.
• Prepares the daily raw coffee consumption report.
• Observes safety rules and regulations while performing his job.
• Control over all activities of production line.
• Record down time periodically.
• Performs other similar duties as may be assigned by supervisors.

Competencies

• Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Attain and maintain required certifications.
• Effectively work in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to urgent repairs.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

• College Diploma in General Mechanics /Electricity with minimum of 2 year work experience OR
• TVET Diploma in General Mechanics, Electricity with minimum of 2 year work experience
