Jr. Marketing Officer

Purpose of the job

We are looking for passionate jr. marketing officer to Plans and oversees the organization’s marketing activities and ensure that all marketing operations are successful in meeting the goals set by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Contributes in the implementation of marketing strategies.
• Supports the marketing manager in overseeing the department’s operations.
• Organizing and attending marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.
• Conducts market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth.
• Support the commercial department in overseeing the operations.
• Researches and analyses market trends, competitor offerings and other information that affects marketing strategies.
• Attends marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.
• Sees assigned projects through to completion and evaluate their success.
• Propose areas for improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy, and promotional activities.
• Works with other company officers to establish marketing objectives.
• Undertakes any other duties consistent with the key responsibilities and duties of the post.

Education

• BA in Marketing Management, Business Administration or relevant field.

Experience

• 1–3 years’ experience in the commercial field (Sales/Marketing) in Water & Beverage Company / an FMCG environment is advantageous.

Language

• Both Amharic and English
