Coffee Quality Control Officer

New Flower General Trading P.L.C has engaged in the different business ventures of manufacturing, import, export and construction areas. Our company is looking competent applicants for the following vacant posts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the company improves coffee quality through cupping and giving feedback to clients;
• Help gather coffee samples from clients and other sources;
• Organize and manage inventory of all coffee samples;
• Prepare samples for cupping (hulling, roasting, weighing, grinding, etc.) on daily basis;
• Keep laboratory and cupping supplies clean and ready for use;
• Prepare cupping reports in consultation with the company’s coffee quality control status;
• Any other reasonable duty as may be assigned that is consistent with the nature of the job and its level of responsibility.

Quantity required:2(Two)

Place of work: Sheger cities (oromia) around Addis Ababa

Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in  field of plant science or agricultural areas study and having a minimum of three years for diploma and one year for Degree relevant work experience respectively.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and monitor quality control operations
•  Written and oral communication skill is mandatory
•  Willing and ability to travel to coffee processing and washing stations
• Good knowledge of coffee agronomy. 
• Good knowledge of coffee certifications scheme 
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate and monitor program activities.
