Import Officer

Qualifications: 

• Degree/Diploma in any one or more of the following: Marketing, Procurement and supply, Management, Business Management
• 2+ years of experience as an import officer or in an import/export company or a manufacturing plant engaged in the import sector
• Knowledge of Ethiopian Electronic Single Window (ESW) application processes
• Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including advertising and content strategy.
• Great communication skills with an energetic and welcoming personality
• Perform all record keeping processes and maintain records of all entry.
• Evaluate all items for import and ensure accuracy in all values and collaborate with customer brokers to provide clearance of all imports and maintain required documents.
• Perform audit on all import and export files on regular basis.
• Monitor and provide response to all custom inquiries and requests and obtain required product certifications for all export and import products for custom clearance.
