About Roha Medical Campus:
Roha Medical Campus PLC is building an integrated health campus in Addis Ababa. When complete, it will provide world-class, high-quality, affordable healthcare across multiple hospitals and facilities. The campus will include a medical school and facilities for research and innovation. It will be set in a lush, green setting, built to the highest sustainability standards, and with a beautiful urban park open to the public. The development of the campus has begun, and the first hospital is already under construction.
About the role:
Roha is seeking a Liaison Officer to support the successful development of the Roha Medical Campus in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary organizational contact between Roha and government agencies including but not limited to permit office, utilities, customs, investment authority, planning office, woreda, subcity, city administration.
- Develop and foster relationships with various project stakeholders.
- Compile reports about specific incidents, events and updates on important issues.
- Understand the organizational structure well and refer matters that need the intervention of specific departments.
- Proactively solve conflicts and address issues that could occur between Roha and other stakeholders.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the company and represent the Company in a positive way.
- Assist and communicate with senior leadership in decision-making.
- Maintaining ethical standards inline with local, international and Company policies.
- Manage and coordinate relationships with suppliers both internally and externally.
- Take on other tasks and responsibilities as needed to ensure the overall company success

About the candidate
Successful applicants have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, think at a superior intellectual level, are flexible and imaginative, are high-energy, persistent, self-starters, are good communicators in writing and verbally, and will preferably have a proven track record of delivering on complex projects in challenging environments. Applicants could demonstrate this by having:
- Bachelors degree in any relevant field.
- At least 3-5 years relevant experience is a must.
- Experience working in a fast paced and high pressure environment.
- Strong ability to negotiate and influence people.
- Experience in local import operations is a distint advantage.
- Experience in dealing with government agencies especially permit office, power, and water utilities.
- Experience on a large construction project is a must
- Experience in healthcare projects or operations is a plus.
- Excellent and effective communicator, both oral and written, with internal and external stakeholders.
- English and Amharic fluency is a must.
- Experience working in Ethiopia is a must
