As an established company, Fikeraddis Gelaw Amare Import, Export, Real-estate and Associate (FAMNET Import-Export) was established in accordance with the commercial code of Ethiopia in Nov. 2020 G.C by Fikeraddis Gelaw Amare, with a start-up capital of Br. 2 million. The company is engaged in various lines of businesses including, import, real-estate, local trading etc. and export of sesame seeds, chickpeas, chat and soybean.
Typical responsibilities of the job include:
- Cooperating with the general manager, and assisting with anything from project planning to staff management.
- Nurturing positive working relationships with staff.
- Delegating and Handling daily tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies.
- Providing real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts.
- Screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate party.
- Using computers to generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations, and conduct research.
- Greet and assist visitors.
- Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
- Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
- Job Requirements:
Requirements and Skills
- Proven admin or assistant experience. Managerial experience is a plus.
- At least 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficient in MS Office/ Excel/Word
