Job Description:

As an established company, Fikeraddis Gelaw Amare Import, Export, Real-estate and Associate (FAMNET Import-Export) was established in accordance with the commercial code of Ethiopia in Nov. 2020 G.C by Fikeraddis Gelaw Amare, with a start-up capital of Br. 2 million. The company is engaged in various lines of businesses including import,real-estate, local trading etc. and export of sesame seeds, chickpeas, chat and soybean.

Typical responsibilities of the job include:

Key responsibilities:

  • Financial Accounting and Reporting
  • Financial systems, procedures & internal controls
  • HR & payroll functions
  • Company secretariat matters
  • Legal compliance and Corporate Governance matters
  •  IT & Phone systems and applications
  • Staff supervision within the Admin section
  • contribute to the strategic planning, financial management and day-today running of the organization
  • Main duties:
  •  Ensure accurate, complete & timely financial and management reporting, including monthly management accounts and bank reconciliations
  • Undertake ad hoc financial analysis from time to time, to assist CWP in evaluating income streams, and potential for cost efficiencies
  • Annual Accounts & Audit liaison
  • Timely submission of all external reporting e.g. Companies Office, Funding Bodies
  • Board reporting – providing finance and other reports as required for Board meetings
  • Manage budget processes
  • Continuous review all finance policies & internal control procedures
  • Responsibility for all company IT including management of outsourced IT contract
  •  Operation of payroll, pension & PAYE matters. Production of payroll returns
  • Responsibility for all tax affairs
  • Ensure HR policies & processes are in place and adhered to
  • Company Secretarial Matters
  • Arrange authorization of electronic and manual payments, liaison with banks
  • Supervision of Admin staff, including liaison with relevant programme managers
  • Responsible for all insurance
Job Requirements:

Knowledge, skills and experience required

  • Minimum eight years of experience of managing administration/finance systems
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Proven ability to produce budget plans and reports
  • Experience in staff supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Professional qualification in relevant area
