Ethio-Asian Industries SC, formerly known as East Africa Kality Soap and Detergent factory, is located at Eastern part of Addis Ababa, Kaliti. It is the first private sector soap and detergent factory established by well-known industrialist and EAHSC chairman Mr. Bizuayehu Tadele to manufacture Laundry soaps, Detergents and Toilet soaps.

Ethio-Asia made partnership agreement with Zoscales Partners (ZP) to meet its objective of becoming strong player within the personal care space by aspiring the right niche market of the lower and middle-income class of Ethiopia. Given the continued growth and future expansion of EAISC, the following opportunity exist.

Job Purpose

The Supply Chain Planning Analyst is directly responsible for data collection, analysis, organization & submission of daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, and optimizing the supply operations efficiency.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

· The supply chain planning analyst is responsible for the weekly S&OP process integrating the different operations of the factory

· Support the weekly S&OP process linking commercial, and supply chain departments and data

· Help the plant manager in Mobilizing other departments/functions to achieve a better planning performance

· Ensure optimized productivity throughout the collaborative planning with the production of different functions which will bring out transparency in volumes as well as healthy stocks at the right time for sales

Supply Chain Planning - monthly, weekly & daily

·  The supply chain planning analyst creates an optimal sales-, inventory- and production plan to achieve required customer service levels, taking into account production constraints and available resources

· Translate demand plans into inventory plans/stock plans/capacity plans for production resources (on aggregate and detailed level) on a weekly and daily basis

· Generate balanced production plans, minimizing overtime and idle capacity

· Following & controlling sales & stock to order to adjust the stock level

· Daily communicate with Supply Chain Team & ensure updating of WRP and DRP based on stock level, SKU demand & RPM availability

· Coordinate with logistics to ensure delivery of finished products and return of RPM on time

Follow up on all the supply of production material

· Follow up effectively and implement the stock replenishment planning for all production materials.

· Communicate with the purchasing department in weekly base on-supply meetings to ensure on-time and in-full delivery of raw materials.

Planning Tools and Methods

· Give Support for enabling an efficient and effective planning process by applying the right tools/methods in the right way

· Identify gaps between the actual and required performance of planning tools/methods

· Give Support for Improving the performance of existing tools/methods and initiate activities to explore the usage of alternative planning tools/methods when required

 Management Reporting

· The Planning Analyst facilitates optimal decision-making by regular reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly base 

· Data gathering, organizing, analyzing & report preparation & submission of daily, and weekly reports

·  Actively participate in weekly supply meeting

· Prepare & send new reports as required by EAISC Leadership Team

· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Requirements:

Qualification:

· BSC/BA Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics Mathematics, Applied Statistics,

Experience:                 

· 3 years of relevant analytical experience in Sales, Production & Supply Planning functions in an industrial environment
