- Job Description:
National Podoconiosis Action Network (NaPAN) is a local consortium organization which was first established on November 2011 and registered on April, 2012 u nder the Charities and Societies Proclamation 621/2009 with registry number 2705. It has also re-registered to be a consortium of local and international CSOs in response to the new CSO proclamation # 1113/2019 with the same registry number.
NaPAN is currently seeking to hire qualified and experienced individual who has the following qualification and skills for the Secretary/Cashier position.
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Handles all office management and secretarial service
- Maintains all incoming and outgoing letters as well as other records and maintains a good filling system and ensures that they are orderly, properly filed and readily retrievable when ever need.
- Collect all income through pre-printed cash receipt voucher and deposit the collected cash and hold receipts.
- Handles all communications including making telephone calls and ensuring the receipts of messages.
- Maintains petty cash and makes disbursement against written orders or authorizations, obtain receipts and reconciles cash balance being with the finance and admin head
- Collect proforma invoices from relevant suppliers in any product and service purchase needs
- Making bill payments: water, electric, telephone and internet bills on time
- Making per-diem and services payments in any workshops, meetings, and trainings that the organization hosts.
- Making seclude purchases of offices supplies and serving stuff, board members and other guests with water, cookies and coffees which ever available
- Handles other duties assigned by the supervisor
Duty station: Addis Ababa with rare field trips to make payments
Report to: Finance and Admin Head
Terms of Employment: One year contract with possibility of extension
Benefits: As per the organization benefit package.
- Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualification and experience required:
- Diploma in Secretarial Science and office Management or above
- Five (5) years of relevant work experience for Diploma and at least three (3) for Degree holders
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Quick computer writing in both in Amharic and English
