The Officer is responsible for ensuring support to end users in the company on how to use various types of software programs efficiently and effectively to meet the business objectives. This includes troubleshooting applications and software for all internal customers. He/she carries out testing of applications as well as user training. A Systems Administrator is also responsible for the smooth, timely configuration and maintenance of an organization’s computer systems. The role usually sits within the IT department but works closely with a number of teams throughout the business to ensure unified performance and operation.

 DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES

The main duties and responsibilities consist in providing the following services:

• Configuring and maintaining the networked computer system, including hardware, system software, and applications.
• Managing the infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, databases, malware protection software, system monitoring and other processes;
• Managing TRC, EMR, ODOO, Pacs, and mobile application download.
• Creating and verifying data backups and disaster recovery procedures;
• Creating, contributing and maintaining an updated documentation;
• Monitoring the system daily and responding immediately to security or usability concerns;
• Administrating all the server Operating systems, virtualizations and physical server environments.
• Upgrading systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution;
• Collecting needs/requests and proposing solutions;
• Managing the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems;
• Responding to the help desk requests and solving them;
• Installing and testing computer-related equipment;
• Collaborating, supervising and teaching the company staff;
• New accounts set-up and active directory administration
• Design new computer systems system and server performance
• Troubleshoot technical issues
• Ensure systems are secure and protected from breach or viruses
• Risk mitigation planning

Academic & Professional Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information System, Computer Engineering or any other equivalent field.
• Minimum  2+ years of experience in related job
