ABOUT US

Sabahar PLC is a textile company which produces hand woven textiles to sell locally and internationally. Sabahar Plc. would like to invite qualified and interested applicants for the following position

Specific duties and responsibilities

• the finance manager shall be accountable to the GM and be responsible for ensuring /to manage/ the company’s financial activities (financial transactions, statements; vouchers, posting, report etc.)

Reports to: General Manager

Terms of Employment: Permanent

Qualification

• BA degree in Accounting with progressive 4 years related work experience (at least 2 years in Finance Manager Position or 3 years in a senior accountant position).
• Experience from manufacturing company is preferable.
• Female applicants highly encouraged.

Knowledge, skill and ability

• Demonstrated strategic planning abilities for financial health of a manufacturing company
• Proven experience in controlling and managing a full set of accounts.
• Good proficiency English and Amharic.
• Demonstrated leadership as a department manager, team work and commitment to excellence.
