Logistics Coordinator

Job brief

A German Trading Co. is looking for a reliable “Logistics Coordinator” to be responsible for the overall supply chain. His/Her responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Following up with Inventory as well as Warehouse, Transportation, and other logistics processes.
• Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle
• Develop new Strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost.
• Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met
• Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
• Analyze logistical problems and plan transportation routes for vehicles carrying goods.
• Operating IT systems to manage timings, costs and stock levels
• Negotiating and agreeing contracts with multicultural suppliers and vendors.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are met.
• Create and manage department budgets

General Requirements:

• Fluent English Language & a second German language is a plus.
• Previous experience in ERP/Microsoft Dynamic Navision/SAP is a must.
• Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering
• Max. age is 35 years
• Total years of Experience from 2 to 5 years .
• Proficient in using MS applications particularly Word & Excel
• Strong interpersonal communication & organizational skills.
• Flexible working hours.

Key Requirements:

• Record of successful distribution and logistics management history.
• +3 Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
• Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles.
• Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for other entities.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of logistics and inventory software.
