Formed first in Kenya in 2012 and now also registered and operating in Ethiopia since 2019, Mobile Digital Screens Service PLC (Mobiscreens) is a BTL Marketing and Branding Solutions Provider here in Ethiopia and Kenya with a rich experience of 10 years.

MOBISCREENS (MDS) is currently inviting qualified candidates to apply for the position of Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing business operations
• Establishing policies that promote company culture and vision
• Overseeing operations of the company and the work of other executives

Specific Responsibilities:

• Verify, allocate, post and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
• Design, Plan and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
• Set comprehensive goals for performance, growth, and success
• Establish policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision
• Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.)
• Lead employees with example to encourage maximum performance and dedication
• Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics
• Write and submit reports to the Chief Executive in all matters of importance
• Assist Chief Executive in fundraising ventures
• Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
• Manage relationships with partners/vendors

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc/BA in Telecoms, Business Administration, or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
• At least 12 year of experience as an Accountant
• Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role
• Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing etc.
• Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
• Experience in fundraising will be a plus
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
• Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and CRM
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
