Bid for Trainer service provider for Clinical Management of Rape (CMR) and Guiding Principles for Health Workers in East Harerghe Zone

The purpose of the trainer is to provide training for the health workers selected and assigned by the government partner to attend this basic training for five consecutive days and three days of refresher training based on the gaps identified for fifteen health workers trainees.  After both basic and refresher training and the trainer have to produce a training report and submit to the protection department.

In the context of COVID 19, the trainer will also require to be more creative in approach while he/she provides the training. 

Qualifications and Experience:

Ø  University Degree in Medicine and Public Health, and gynecology

Ø  Experience in providing CMR training and supervision in IDP – host community setting

Ø  Proven understanding of the Survivor centred approach and guiding principles of working with survivors.

Ø  Knowledge and familiarity with Medical protocols mainly STIs, HIV etc.

Ø  Good knowledge of Ethiopia particularly BSG region Medical, Social, Health and Judicial context as well as of relevant I/NGOs and Public health sector that might be relevant to the CMR.

Ø  Willing to provide on-job support for trainees on their respective Health Care Facility and refresher training.          

Ø  Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, Oromifa, and Amharic

Ø  Knowledge of local- East Hareghe context.

Ø  The consultant or trainer should be conversant with Ethiopia's taxation laws.
