Job Summery

• The Payment & Settlement Officer will assist in processing all the financial receipts and payments. The job holder will counter check and verify the accuracy and proper authentication of the documents presented for payments; and ensure the safekeeping of documents and records.

Academic & Professional Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or business related discipline from a reputable university.
• Professional qualification(s) e.g. ACCA, CPA and CFA is an added advantage.

Experience

• Four (4) years’ of relevant work experience.

Required Technical Competency

• Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Good grasp of Financial & Management Accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
• Excellent knowledge of Accounts Analysis and Reconciliation.
• Preparation of Financial Statements.
• Excellent grasp Taxation & relevant legislation
